Hawaiian Chip Co. is adding a new snack to its product list with the recent acquisition of the Menehune Mac brand from Hawaiian Candies and Nuts Ltd.

Hawaiian Chip Company first started serving up its iconic purple Okinawan sweet potato chips 21 years ago in Ziploc bags for sale at local swap meets. These chips were, and remain, distinguishable from other similar products on the market because they are seasoned with signature flavors like Zesty Garlic, Kiawe BBQ and Kilauea Fire. 

Today is National Fortune Cookie Day and the future looks bright according to PIDGINMOJI (www.PIDGINMOJI.com) founder, Ka‘ohele Carlos, who launched the company's PIDGINMOJI Fortune Cookies with all 150 fortunes written in Pidgin.
